Judy N. McCullough was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. She attended Texas Tech University where she studied English for three years. She continued college in Dallas where she obtained a court reporting degree. She now focuses on her love for art in New Mexico where she has lived for almost thirty years. She operated her own art gallery in Albuquerque. She is now semi-retired and lives in the community of Placitas, New Mexico, with her husband, Michael, and their six dogs.
