InventHelp Inventor Develops New Surgical Tool for Plastic Surgeons (CHK-5067)

PR Newswire

PITTSBURGH, June 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- "As a plastic surgeon, I thought there could be an improved way to measure, cut, and create a more symmetrical areola and in less time," said an inventor, from Berkley, Mich., "so I invented the BA CUTTER. My design offers an alternative to the traditional three step process of using an areola marker, marking the site manually, and using a scalpel to attempt to cut a precise and uniform new areola."

The patent-pending invention provides an improved means to resize the breast areola during various types of cosmetic surgeries. In doing so, it would combine an areola marker together with a cutter. As a result, it reduces the amount of tools and steps required. It also may save valuable time and energy during surgery. The invention features an innovative design that is easy to use so it is ideal for plastic surgeons. Additionally, a prototype model and technical drawings are available upon request.

The original design was submitted to the Chicago sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
